Try it out on several people.
If the answer is Yes, move on to the next question. If the answer is No, cross it off the above list and don't use this joke in your speech.
2. Does the joke make fun of anybody else besides yourself?
If the answer is Yes, cross it off the above list and don't use this joke in your speech. If the answer is No, move on to the final question
3. Does this joke relate to your speech?
If the answer is Yes, it is safe to use the joke. If the answer is No, cross it off the above list and don't use this joke in your speech.
For those jokes that passed the test, keep them listed on this Funny Wedding Speech Plan.
Be sure to include the passing jokes when you brainstorm your speech, with the help of the Speech Writing Page.
Remember to practice delivering the joke a few times (as you would practice delivering your speech).
